Transportation and arrival
Boat pickup in Sierpe and the river journey through the endless mangrove forest to the lodge is an unforgettable experience. If you travel by your own vehicle (4x4 with high clearance), take the Sierpe ferry to the rainforest shore and continue about a one‑hour drive through the jungle and over mountains to Sabalo. Travel only in daylight! 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Outside these hours neither boat nor ferry operate. Health and safety come first.

Accommodations
This package includes accommodation in double glamping tents and cabins with private bathrooms. On request we can also offer 4‑ or 6‑bed units. Extra beds for the youngest guests are available. Fresh scented bed linen, a flower, towels... Romantic accommodation in paradise awaits you.

Food
We always cook fresh meals. Our menu is varied. If you have special dietary requirements, we will accommodate them as best we can. Because we prepare all dishes fresh, we appreciate if you let us know in advance what you would like so we can have it ready at the requested time. The package begins with dinner. The price also includes 2 snacks, so if you arrive early you may request one. Breakfast is served between 6:00–8:00 AM, according to your wishes and the next day’s program. Lunch and snacks will be scheduled around your activities. It may happen that some of you go fishing and want your catch cooked—we’re happy to prepare it. For meals and snacks you can choose from fresh juices, coffee, water and a sweetened soft drink. At any time during the day ask for coffee, tea or iced water.

Special care
In the evening we’ll provide 3 bottles of wine. Let us know whether you’d like them on the first or the second evening. If you bring your own drinks or food, ask to borrow a portable fridge with ice. Air‑conditioning units can be rented for the tents; due to energy costs they are offered at a 50% surcharge. Our laundry service is available free of charge. If other guests are on the property and you’d like privacy at the natural swimming spot, tell us and we will arrange it. For experienced guests there’s a morning excursion by two kayaks into the jungle. During daylight hours three rainforest trails are available — dress appropriately, the jungle is changeable: sometimes gentle and beautiful, sometimes a bit challenging. If you feel like lounging in the morning, have breakfast brought to your bed.

Important information
If your group is larger or smaller, please let us know. We will adjust the offer accordingly. Please be aware that you will be staying in the rainforest. You must follow local safety guidelines — not nonsense, but practical rules for behavior outside the garden and after dark.
