Ocelot - Ocelot
A quiet and graceful feline moving through the lush forest of Sabalo Lodge, Osa Peninsula.
The ocelot is a beautiful and elusive wild cat of the rainforest, known for its striking spotted coat and silent movement. It is mostly active at night, moving carefully through the forest in search of small animals, birds and reptiles. Seeing an ocelot in the wild is a rare and unforgettable experience. Occasionally, it can even be seen crossing the bridge near the restaurant or walking quietly between cabins and tents.

Tip: The best place to look for an ocelot in Sabalo Lodge is at the intersection of the red and yellow trails near the bridge, where there is a WiFi access point and a large camera. Move quietly, especially at night, and be patient.
