A relaxing 40 minute trip through the mangroves of Sierpe River to Sábalo Lodge where you will have the opportunity to see up close the many wonders of this unique ecosystem.

Cultural tour of a local Tico family home.
Approximately 4 hours tour to Playa Blanca, a 20 minute boat ride down the Sierpe River from Sábalo Lodge. Playa Blanca is located at the mouth of the river commonly referred to as the "boca". This is a remote and isolated beach that can only be reached by boat. There you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with a spectacular view of the mountains on Violin's island. It is a wonderful tree-lined beach with safe areas for swimming and good fishing too!
