The Main Lodge - 1,737.60 sq. ft. / 161.42m2

The main lodge was built with exotic hard woods with a red corrugated metal roof on a cement slab that is over one foot high protecting the structure from water and termites. The lodge is open air giving you a 360-degree view of the property and completely screened in. Enjoy the afternoon breezes as they flow through the rooms of the lodge. The low extended roof protects the structure from rain and sun while also providing for a nice wrap around porch. The low roof also keeps ambient light at night to a minimum allowing you to go outside and enjoy the night sky in its entire splendor.



The lodge is divided into three segments: the kitchen and dining room, two guests rooms in the middle and at the back third is the owner’s quarters consisting of the living room/office, bedroom, closet for two and private bath and shower.

The lodge is equipped with satellite internet, two ceiling fans and a refrigerator in the kitchen and dining area and two ceiling fans in the owner’s bedroom and living room/office. The power to the main lodge runs off twelve solar panels with eight batteries for electrical storage and a 9000-watt gas backup generator for charging the batteries when there is minimal sun. The generator is a little over a year old and the solar system array was installed in mid 2007.



The lodge comes fully furnished including the linens and towels needed for all the rooms and cabins. The kitchen is fully functional, completely furnished with high quality stainless steel cookware, baking and casserole dishes, a full selection of utensils, four propane burners, a small oven with an additional four burners and a small fridge.

There are place settings for twelve people and additional glasses, coffee mugs and pitchers.



The living room comes with a large sectional brought from the U.S. and made of micro-fiber, which is easy to clean, and not affected by humidity (kitty is not included, lol). There are also two bamboo computer desks with drawers, bamboo coffee and end tables and two hardwood bookshelves. There is a king size bed in the owner’s quarters and a queen size bed with end tables in each of the two guest rooms.
