There are many low incline roads and trails around Sabalo Lodge
for the casual walker and more strenuous uphill trails for the rigorous hiker.
The terrain varies from farmland to rainforest and much wildlife may be
spotted during your hike. So be sure to bring your camera and binoculars!
We offer guided hikes or if you prefer, you may hike on your own.

You may even spot a boa winding up a tree.

Sloths are a little harder to spot without a guide
unless they're moving around like this guy. When resting
they resemble a termite nest in the tree.
