Costa Rica Rainforest Lodge - Sabalo Eco Lodge is suited for those seeking: adventure travel, ecotourism or even a family vacation within the rainforest of Costa Rica. This jewel in the jungle is landscaped with eight open acres of lush green grass, coconut palms and many different kinds of fruit trees. Shade abounds as large trees line a spring-fed stream running along one side of the property’s border. Additional sides of the property are adjacent to ten acres of primary tropical lowland rainforest and the largest mangrove reserve in Central America.

Sabalo Lodge currently has a main house with two guest rooms, a dining area and a full-size kitchen. The two lodge rooms have a separate shared bathroom and shower facility.
Additionally, there are two cabins adjacent to the rainforest. The rainforest cabin (pictured below) sleeps three comfortably. Our Deluxe Rainforest cabin is in a secluded area and sleeps up to 5 people. The Deluxe Rainforest cabin has a private bathroom and shower and the Rainforest cabin has a shared bathroom and shower area just steps away.

There is also a 483 square foot rancho near our spring-fed stream (a favorite place for our guests to relax after a day of ecotourism adventure).

Wildlife abounds within the setting of Sabalo Eco Lodge. Frequent visitors to the ecolodge include a family of white-faced monkeys that visit almost daily to enjoy the fruit on our property. We also see scarlet macaws regularly as they enjoy the bounty of our mature almond trees. These are just a few of the many animals, birds, mammals, reptiles, etc. that can be seen on the grounds.
